Thursday night, come to the Lincoln Park student center to catch two of the best comedies currently on TV: 30 Rock and the Office. Unfortunately, The Office will be a re-run (this season's excellent "Crime Aid" episode, in case you were wondering). 30 Rock, however, will be new. And if watching these two shows in beautiful high-definition, there will be free food and a raffle. This all takes place at 8 PM at the annex of Brownstone's.
Following that, there will be live music. Performing at 9 PM will be local rock band Midnight Vespers. According to the band, their influences range from Brand New to Dave Matthews Band... interesting. The few songs on their myspace (check that out here) sound a little amateurish, but I'd be interested to see how it translates to a live setting.
After that, Midnight Vespers guitarist/vocalist Jake Carmen will be performing an acoustic set.
