I might be a few hours late in posting this blog, but you can help me out by waking up a couple hours early on Monday morning to help serve breakfast at "The Soup Kitchen".
DePaul University Ministry hosts DePaul Mondays at St. Vincent DePaul Parish, 1010 W. Webster Avenue. Students can sign up to volunteer to serve breakfast to the less fortunate from 8:00 to 10:00 a.m. Soup kitchens are a great way to give back to the community and a humbling experience of the hardships many others face on a day-to-day basis.
Besides, who takes Monday morning classes, anyway? There's no excuse not to give DePaul Mondays a try.
