Branko's Sandwich Shop

DePaul students looking for a change of pace from the food in the Lincoln Park Student Center need look no further. Branko's Sandwich Shop (it's pronounced like "Broncos") has been serving up burgers, gyros, and chicken sandwiches for 33 years. And while the cuisine may not be anything out of the ordinary, the friendly service is second-to-none.

Branko's is a family-run establishment, and has been at its Fullerton-at-Seminary location since its inception (it's across the quad, next to the Mobil station for those wondering). What's been keeping the tiny sandwich shop in business so long is its super-friendly atmosphere.

They doesn't have the most extensive menu, but you'll definitely get your money's worth. Every order comes with free fries, and the woman behind the counter will gladly refill your drink for free as well. These are perks that will no doubt be appreciated by students on tight budgets!

I've been coming to Branko's a couple times a month since I've been at DePaul, and I've never been let down: above-average burgers, and a staff that will treat you kindly no matter how crowded the restaurant may be.
